A social evening was held by the South Donegal Branch of the Gallagher Clan in the Central Hotel, Donegal Town, on Wednesday, 9 May 2007, beginning at 9.00 p.m.
Gallaghers from across South Donegal first met in March 2007, where it was agreed to establish a South Donegal Branch of the Gallagher Clan. A further meeting followed in April 2007, at which it was decided to hold a social evening to formally mark the establishment of the branch.
The event in the Central Hotel provided an opportunity for Gallaghers from throughout the region to meet socially, renew family connections, and support the aims of the Clan organisation at a local level.
